Mission Statement

Appalachia Service Project (ASP) brings thousands of volunteers from around the country to rural Central Appalachia to repair homes for families in need. But ASP is more than just a building program. ASP is a "Relationship ministry with home repair on the side", the families we serve have a way of affecting us all deeply in different ways.  You’ll return home to your community with a passion for service, a renewed compassion for other people, and a fresh appreciation for your purpose in this world. Making homes “warmer, safer and drier” for needy families is what ASP does. And for more than 40 years, they’ve done exactly that for thousands of families.

Denville Community Church has been working with ASP since 1991. Hundreds of adults and youth from our extended church family have served and been richly blessed in service to others!
